The acrylic is genuinely soft-touch, no itch at all even after wearing it a few hours. One size fits all actually held true for my big head, which never happens. Wore it on a cold hike and it stayed put the whole time.
The embroidered icon is stitched cleanly and the acrylic has that soft, almost fleecy feel right out of the bag. It's one size so it sits a bit loose on my smaller head, but it stays put once I fold the brim.
